22 April 2024Who Pays For What?
Most couples today will be contributing financially to their own wedding as both bride and groom will have incomes.
It is no longer the sole responsibility of the bride’s parents to assume the huge financial task of paying for their daughter’s wedding. The groom’s parents may also offer to contribute, although they traditionally pay for the rehearsal dinner, the bride’s bouquet, and bridal attendants’ flowers.
The average bride spends over $25,000 on her wedding and has an average engagement of a year to
fourteen months.
